Q- When may I make room reservations?
A- Room reservations may be made, at any time, by calling toll-free 800-417-3767. Because holiday weekends tend to fill up so quickly, we do not take reservations more than 6 months in advance. We do maintain a wait-list, and there are sometimes last minute cancellations, so please check with our reservations office, even if you think we may be booked.
Q-What if I need to cancel a reservation?
A-Cancellations are accepted, without penalty, as long as you cancel more than 7 days prior to your scheduled check-in. On holiday and special event weekends, we require a 14 day advance cancellation. Regrettably, we must charge the first night fee for cancellations received later than those minimums.
Q-What are the check-in and check-out times?
A-Check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. Please inquire about alternate arrangements and we will do our best to accommodate your requirement.

Please use the cleanup supplies provided. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, the main bar, the restaurant or, during food hours, on the Promenade Deck. Visiting dogs are not allowed on weekends or holidays.
Q-What about special events and activities?
A-There is always something special happening on the River. We feature popular singers, comics and other entertainers, from around the country, and host special t-dances with DJs from the hottest clubs in San Francisco, L.A. and New York. Our holiday poolside parties have been legendary, for over 20 years. On non holiday weekends, we have established our own traditions. The Russian River Comedy Festival, the Celebrity Pie Throw, and other themed events continue throughout the year!

Q-Is there shopping in Guerneville?
A-There is ample shopping within two or three easy blocks of the resort. Guerneville has a large Safeway Supermarket, a drug store, a 5 and dime, and a number of specialized boutiques and antique shops. Our small, picturesque community is a browsers paradise! Gasoline is readily available and priced slightly lower than stations in San Francisco.
Q-Are there other venues for gays and lesbians in the Guerneville area?
A-Guerneville has been the Northern California premier gay and lesbian resort area for over 25 years. You might like to read about our history, on the Our Resort page. There are several gay and lesbian bars, dining establishments and a late night club, all within easy walking distance of the Russian River Resort. We have so much going on at the RRR, though, that we do not know why you would want to go anywhere else! Check our Links page for other venues in town.
Q-What sightseeing do you recommend?
A-The Russian River is one of northern California's most beautiful sightseeing areas. We recommend the following: * wine tasting on the Russian River Wine Trail. * a visit to Armstrong Woods State Reserve, with its spectacular old-growth redwoods. * a drive west, about 14 miles, to the coast. From there, head either north, to Fort Ross, or south, to Bodega Bay * canoeing on the Russian River, there are local canoe rental options. * Just ask any of our hotel staff, and they will be happy to tell you more!
Q-Can I reach the RRR via public transportation?
A-Yes, you can reach Guerneville by bus, but it is not easy. Sonoma County Transit Route 20 serves Guerneville from the Santa Rosa Transit Mall. Busses run from approximately 5am to 8pm. You can find detailed information on all the ways you can get the River on www.GayRussianRiver.com. You might wish to consider an automobile rental, as an alternative.
Q-Do you have souvenir merchandise?
A-Yes! Check our hotel office for everything from Russian River Resort tee shirts and tank tops to a trendy leash for your puppy!
Q-Does the RRR support the community?
A-The Russian River Resort has been one of the most successful fundraisers and generous donors in Northern California through annual events like the Celebrity Pie Throw, auctions and raffles, and with outright grants, we have contributed over $2 million to regional charities. At our Annual Celebrity Bartender Marathon on Christmas Day in 2006, we raised over $13,500 in twelve hours for six local charities. The RRR is proud of its contribution to the community and grateful for the spirited support of our guests in lending a helping hand to those in need.
